Wrench Talk is Repairius's automotive community forum where vehicle owners and automotive professionals come together to share knowledge, ask questions, and help each other. To keep this community valuable and safe for everyone, we ask all members to follow these guidelines.
Content Standards
Do:
- Share genuine automotive knowledge and experiences
- Ask specific questions — include vehicle year, make, model, and symptoms
- Cite sources when sharing technical specifications
- Recommend professional help for safety-critical repairs
- Be respectful, even when you disagree
Don't:
- Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
- Share content that harasses, bullies, or threatens other users
- Post hate speech or discriminatory content
- Share dangerous misinformation that could cause physical harm
- Post sexually explicit or violent content
- Impersonate professionals or claim false credentials
- Share personal information of others without consent
Content Moderation
All posts on Wrench Talk are moderated using a combination of:
- AI Pre-screening: Posts are automatically checked for profanity, harassment, and off-topic content before publication
- Community Reporting: Users can flag content that violates these guidelines
- Human Review: Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team
Content that violates these guidelines may be removed, and repeat offenders may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
Reporting & Blocking
If you see content that violates our guidelines:
- Click the Report button on any post or reply
- Select the reason and provide additional context if needed
- Our team will review the report within 24 hours
You can also block individual users to hide their content from your feed. Blocked users cannot interact with your posts.

Professional Credentials
Users who identify as automotive professionals may display badges and credentials. While we encourage professionals to participate, Repairius does not independently verify all claimed credentials. Users should exercise their own judgment when following advice.
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Warning: For first-time minor violations
- Content removal: Posts that violate guidelines will be removed
- Temporary suspension: For repeated violations
- Permanent ban: For severe or repeated violations
Content Ownership & Responsibility
Users retain ownership of content they post but grant Repairius a license to display, distribute, and moderate that content on the platform.
