Shop Management Software Pricing: What Vendors Actually Publish (2026)

Most shop software pricing pages hide the real number behind a demo form. This page collects only the prices vendors publish on their own websites, with the source and the date we checked — plus what to ask when no price is published.

Disclosure: Repairius publishes this page and Repairius is our own product. This list is not a ranking — entries appear in no particular order of quality, and we assign no ratings.

How we researched: every price and feature below comes from the vendor’s own website with the date we checked it and a link to the source. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say so — unpublished means unknown, not free. Confirm details directly with each vendor before buying.

    Repairius

    Our product

Repairius combines shop management — work orders, estimates, invoices, inspections and customer communication — with a free basic business listing and website that can receive booking requests. Unlimited users on every plan, no per-technician fees.

Pricing: Pro $99.99/month (first location included); Business $179.99/month adds fleet accounts, technician commissions and marketing campaigns. 14-day trial, card required.

Limitations: newer platform; directory inquiries are not guaranteed; heavy-duty labor data and dealer DMS features are not claimed.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Which shop management software is cheapest?

On published entry prices alone, Repairius Pro at $99.99/month with unlimited users is the lowest entry point on this page — but we publish Repairius, so verify fit rather than trusting our list. Among competitors, published monthly entry prices start around $179–$239, but entry plans exclude features many shops need. Compare the complete cost for your staff count, locations and add-ons.

Why do some vendors not publish prices?

Quoted pricing usually means the final number depends on users, locations, modules, data licenses and implementation. Mitchell 1, RO Writer, Protractor, Digital Wrench and the dealer/fleet DMS platforms quote individually. An unpublished price means unknown — not free, and not necessarily expensive.

What hidden costs should I ask about?

Per-user or per-technician licenses, additional locations, heavy-duty or labor-data add-ons, payment processing rates, migration fees (Shopmonkey lists $500), marketing add-ons, annual-contract terms and cancellation/export conditions.

    Are annual discounts worth it?

Tekmetric, Shopmonkey, Shop-Ware and AutoLeap all display lower rates for annual billing. Confirm whether the discounted rate is a genuine annual prepay or a promotional display, what happens at renewal, and how you exit — Fullbay requires an annual agreement even though it bills monthly.
