    Fullbay vs Fleetio

Fleetio primarily records an operator’s asset maintenance; Fullbay runs a repair shop and also serves in-house maintenance. The question may be which organization needs which record system, not which product replaces the other.

    The decision that matters

Fleetio primarily records an operator’s asset maintenance; Fullbay runs a repair shop and also serves in-house maintenance. The question may be which organization needs which record system, not which product replaces the other.

    Fleet operator outsourcing repairs

Demonstrate an issue, repair authorization, outside invoice and completed-service history in Fleetio. Establish how those records arrive from a repair provider without assuming a Fullbay integration.

    Independent repair shop billing customers

Demonstrate customer estimates, payments and invoices in Fullbay. Ask Fleetio to show any required shop-facing billing rather than inferring it from fleet work orders.

    Fullbay

    Heavy-duty repair shop management

Buyer fit: Independent commercial-truck shops and in-house maintenance teams evaluating service orders, unit histories, PM and parts workflows.

    Published pricing and purchase terms

Basic $188/month with one Full User license; additional users $89/month. Pro $258/month plus $109 per additional user; Elite $318/month plus $119 per additional user. All plans require an annual agreement with monthly billing. Confirm included licenses on Pro/Elite, locations and add-ons.

    What the vendor publishes

    • Lists service-order workflow, estimates and invoices, customer/unit management, inventory tracking and preventive-maintenance tracking. [source]
    • Lists technician assignment, time clocks and automated PM service-order creation across its plans. [source]
    • Pro adds QuickBooks integration, MOTOR 4–8 Labor Guide integration and telematics/GPS integrations; confirm licensing and the named connection. [source]
    • Elite lists MOTOR Truck Service Guide, Mitchell 1 ProDemand and TruckSeries Labor Estimator connections. Connected content is not proof it is included without additional terms. [source]
    • Basic is described for one location and up to five users; Pro and Elite list multiple-location management. [source]

    Questions for Fullbay

    • What can be exported at cancellation, and when can an annual contract be ended?

    Fleetio

    Fleet-operator maintenance management

Buyer fit: Organizations maintaining their own assets, including outsourced repairs; not automatically a customer-billing replacement for an independent shop.

    Published pricing and purchase terms

Fleet pricing uses a different purchase basis from shop software. Request a current per-asset quote, minimums and required work-order tier; this work-order page does not establish an all-in subscription cost.

    Vendor pricing/product source

    What the vendor publishes

    • Describes digital work orders for both in-house and outsourced fleet maintenance. [source]
    • Describes work-order parts and labor line items. [source]
    • Describes scheduling work using technician availability. [source]

    Questions for Fleetio

    • Which asset counts, minimums and work-order tier apply?
    • How are outside-shop approvals, invoices and service histories reconciled?
    • Do we need a fleet record system, a customer-facing repair-shop system, or both?

Compare the complete cost, not the starting price

Compare the purchase basis, record ownership and approval handoff. Per-asset and shop/user subscriptions are not comparable until the organization and workload are defined.

Use the same job in both demonstrations

    1. Create a representative unit and repair, including mileage/engine hours where relevant, inspection photos and an estimate revision.
    2. Assign two technicians, issue an in-stock part, order a missing part and capture labor across more than one day.
    3. Obtain a sample customer authorization, complete an invoice and reconcile the payment or fleet statement without sending a live request.
    4. Export the completed history and an open repair. Confirm attachments, accounting totals, permissions and contract exit terms.

    Frequently asked

    Is Fullbay better than Fleetio?

It depends on your shop. Fullbay (Heavy-duty truck shop management software) and Fleetio (Fleet-operator maintenance management) serve different needs. Confirm current pricing and features with each vendor; Repairius does not verify third-party prices.

Can I use Repairius alongside Fullbay or Fleetio?

You can keep other services while using Repairius. Repairius offers a free basic listing and website with booking requests; advanced management tools require the appropriate paid plan. This does not imply an integration with either vendor or guarantee inquiry volume.

Can I replace both with one tool?

It depends on what you use each one for. Repairius combines a free directory listing with booking requests and, on a paid plan, dispatch, estimates and invoicing. Some shops keep Fullbay or Fleetio alongside Repairius — compare your current contracts before cancelling anything.
